Happenings in July....so far

So far this month, we have been very busy. We spent 4th of July at Ben's grandma's, went home to watch some fireworks, then we headed up to my family cottage for the rest of the week. It was a nice long vacation! After that week, Barrett started t-ball. He had a couple practices then has two games a week for 3 weeks. He seems to like it. Unfortunately it has been record breaking highs this week and he hasn't had a lot of energy for the games. It's fun to see him out there trying his best though!

Last Sunday we went back to Ben's grandma's for the day. The kids love it up there! Lots of swimming and building of sand castles. Fun!

The weekend before through the week of Halloween was a busy time. We went to the zoo where the kids could trick-or-treat, walk through a straw maze, and get scared in a book tunnel. It was a very fun day with family! Then for Halloween we trick-or-treated to various family houses and had even more fun! The kids really seemed to enjoy Halloween this year!

What an exciting first week back to school! Barrett started going to Preschool twice a week and he turned four years old! He's getting so big! Sigh! Oh, how I love my little man!
