Christmas this season was busy, but nice.  The feeling of family was wonderful and we feel truly blessed!  The kids managed to get through the 3 busy days pretty well with only a few melt downs.  :)  The festivities began at my dad's house.  The Edin's spent the night and we all headed over on the morning of Christmas Eve.  After that we all headed to Saginaw to visit with the McLeod family.  Grandma Jojo was happy to see every one and we all had a great time.  We drove home late that night, so we could be home for Santa in the morning at our own house.  The kids were very excited!  Santa drank milk and had left some cookie crumbs on a plate, too!  Ben dressed up as an elf and we had a great time handing out presents.  Barrett got his Bat Cave (he had written Santa a letter and Santa remembered!) and the girls got a princess vanity.  They all got a lot fo other gifts, too.  A new love of coloring has taked over with the children (Raina...big time!), so that has been fun to see.  Later that day we headed over to Ben's parents house for their Christmas party.  Again, we had a great time.  The kids later watched The Polar Express and we laughed along to Mad Gab (love that game).  Today we are having a family day at home, playing with our new toys and enjoying some down time as a family.  Each kid got a new board game and we got a movie from Rex and Monica, so we will probably have a family game night followed by a movie.  Ahhhh, life is good!  :)
